The City of Columbus has partnered with Homeport to target NSP funds in order to create homeownership opportunities and turn around neighborhoods. Targeting NSP investment around anchor projects, Homeport CDC has used a "block-by-block" approach to redevelopment that has produced results. And with special loan products created by Huntington Bank, homeowners are now able to access these new homes and rebuild the neighborhoods around them.
