One of my fastest victories in the tourney. Felt a bit sorry for my opponent here, he kind of got himself in a jam from the get go.
I will post the PGN of the game (and some videos of a couple of my other games including one more analyzed my Mr. Evans) shortly (I'm still in Vegas now and don't have my scoresheet for the game handy).
Oh, also, due to time constraints of YouTube I didn't post the full complete video. GM Evans and the group try to find saving moves for black (instead of the c4 to c5 pawn move) but conclude there's not a whole lot black can do. In the actual game (I will post above) white's attack culminated rather spectacularly. Out of curiosity I will play ChessMaster vs. itself it this positon & post the results below. :)
He has a lot of patience with those noobs.

Thanks for posting this. I had never seen Larry do a review before, enjoy his laid back engaging manner. RIP GM Evans.

May he rest in piece. He died very recently.

I attended one of these lectures by GM Evans at the Riviera and he was very cool. He was the perfect analyst as he provided easy to follow logical instruction as well as sprinkling in charming and interesting chess anecdotes.
