Dealing with customers is your job, buddy. For those things that you hate seeing (and are not qualified to assess anyways), such as wounds or drug information questions, have them speak to the pharmacist.
If dealing with customers comprises 50% of your job, and you hate dealing with customers, maybe you should really sit down and assess your life. A job change might be a really positive improvement for you. That or take some citalopram. If you don't know what that does, ask the pharmacist.

@onefoofighter totally true...most people don't know the difference between a) cashier working in pharmacy, b) pharmacy assistant (need a certification), vs. c) a pharmacist requiring a 3-4 year degree on top of an undergrad education.
*sigh* same people who don't know psychologist vs. psychiatrist

I don't think this applies to anyone that works in the pharmacy department itself. Otherwise they should really find a new job. Pharmacists do hold a doctorate. Pharm.D stands for Doctor of Pharmacy. This all coming from an pharm intern.
