it's way better for the environment than say F1. Cars burning loads of fuel to do a a lap, flying huge pit crews and loads of equipment around the world, manufacture of new parts for every car. banger racing uses less fuel, involves much less travelling and recycles old cars and parts.

it would be waste if they were perfectly good classic cars but they're not. Typically, they're left to rot in a field with nobody to restore them, rusting through and neglected.

But they're not perfectly good. That's the whole point. They were when new, but a car has to be in pretty poor shape before it's only worth using for bangers.

because you clearly dont know much about this sport at all, cars dont use oils in banger racing because they dont give a shit about the maintenance stupid thats why they are wrecking them in the first place , the petrol trank is removed so it doesnt leak on track for safety regulations , why the fuck would they use anti-freeze anyways , and the battery is relocated next to the driver so that doesnt happen and is used over and over again , Read A Book !

I don't think so mate, Motor oil, anti-freeze, and maybe even battery acid leaking all over the place?

And another given that classic cars are rarely driven by their owners, the amount of pollution they'd emit per year would be minimal. Plus a classic Mini isn't exactly going to pollute much anyway.

no it isnt , its in the name of fun and in a way its better for the environment as classic cars polute the air more and so when we destroy them we destroy polution, and besides the pre 68 is where you see classics get wasted.
