Adam and I kayak the Suwannee for five days on my birthday. We camp at river camps along the way and also camp on a sand bank for one night after we got ticked off by poor treatment at Spirit of Suwannee park

  • Mostly composed of solid limestone in this region, sometimes this gives way to sand and dirt. What is on the banks of the Suwannee is mostly those plants that can cling onto rocky cliffs and exist on a steep bank. There are also a lot of trees that get too heavy for this cantilevered world and they lean at a crazy angle or fall into the water
