Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli - Masterclass documentary (1959) - Part II

Note: Michelangeli is only in the fourth part.

Honestly you can skip this part, it's quite boring.

In this part are introduced the pupils of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli:
1) Paul Ayash;
2) Adam Harasiewicz;
3) Elias Lopez.

It's funny to notice that Harasiewicz has won the 1955 Chopin Competition.
In that year, Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli was in the jury, and he left the jury before the end of the competition in protest, because he thought that Ashkenazy deserved the first prize.

Onestamente, potete anche saltare questa parte, è un po' noiosa.
In questa parte vengono presentati alcuni allievi di Michelangeli:
1) Paul Ayash;
2) Adam Harasiewicz;
3) Elias Lopez.

È divertente notare che Harasiewicz ha vinto il concorso Chopin nel 1955. In quell'anno Michelangeli era nella giuria e lasciò il concorso in anticipo in protesta, perché volevano dare il premio ad Harasiewicz e non ad Ashkenazy, ritenuto da ABM il migliore.
