Jewelers use wax models to cast rings and other jewelry. CNC machining is a great way to create such wax model based on a design in a 3D CAD system. The 123WaxRing system makes it very easy for any jeweler without CNC knowhow to create such wax model of a ring design. The complete system is affordable for any jeweler to use it in-house.   • Can I use other 3D software...Matrix 3D?...generate the 3D image..and then simply use that file with the 123Wax Ring software?

  • @drand102 - you can use any design software, so also Matrix 3D. The resulting 3D model needs to be exported as STL file, then the 123WaxRing wizard in DeskProto can import it.

  • What kind of wax they use? can you make your own wax?

  • @supperstorm - the system used pre-shaped wax disks that can be bought. The manual also contains the exact specifications for these disks so you can also make your own.

    The video ends with a link to the website, which will tell you all you need.

    This way we can change the price if needed without changing the video.

    The 123WaxRing system is priced EUR 395, and to run it you will also need the DeskProto 3D CAM software for EUR 995. Plus of course a CNC milling machine :-)
