Neighbors barking dogs

This is an on going problem I am having with my neighbor and their two dogs for the past 2 years, every time I am in my back yard or even open the door to throw something out this is the welcome I get. When I am inside the house day and night they also bark non-stop at every car, person, animal, leaf or dust that goes by. Figured I should start recording to have evidence and also figured I would share on here to see if anyone else has the same issues and please if you did, tell me how you resolved it. I feel your pain. I live next to a loud, shrill barking schnoodle that has ruined my life. That dog barks so hard and for so long I can't believe he hasn't killed himself, because he's killing me. The cops are no help.

So sorry - I have the SAME problem. For 10 years I have lived next door to an inconsiderate trashy b* who has had at least 15 different dogs at different times. She leaves them out and they bark all day and all night. Now her dogs (a Boxer and German Shepherd) get out of her yard and are trying to break through my back fence to get after my two dogs. I've talked to her 4 times in the past week and she always makes excuses. I love animals, but I've had some pretty evil thoughts lately. :-(

PLEASE let me know what you do to resolve it (if you find a way) I have called the police numerous times and they say they will come, but never do. I have called the local animal shelter and reported them as dangerous dogs but still nothing. I have no solution to my problem so that is why I went online to try to find one.

@mars188 Hosing the dogs is a bad idea. You can be prosecuted for cruelty to animals or assault. Poison as others suggested, even worse. I caught my neighbor attempting this. Threw meat over my fence, I saw it, had it checked, and he was arrested. I then sued him in civil court. Cost him thousands of dollars. Then, fucker couldn't pay his mortgage.

Know your nuisance dog laws. If the neighboris breaking them, police will come (if not, you have shitty police). If they are not, then you are shit out of luck. I had a neighbor thorw an M80 in my yard at my dogs. Said they were keeping him awake as he sleeps in the day. He was slapped with a $500.00 fine & animal cruelty charges & is on probation. Not to mention he almost got shot by me when I heard the explosion & ran outside.

easy fix guys, what u do is get some chunks of beef, put some rat poison in them and throw them over the fence the dogs will eat them and die, hahahahhaha i love killing animals

throw poisoned meat into ur neighbors yard, that should take care of the problem

Spray it with the hose or play this or other dogs on a stereo even louder. Wake them up style.

Somebody suggested to me getting dog treats (preferablythose Bacon strips) and covering them in peanut butter, and giving it to the dog. It'll keep the dog's mouth shut for hours while it's constantly licking it's teeth and gums to get rid of the peanut butter. That does sound like a good idea, but I my problem is that peanut butter and dog treats costs will start to add up, and why should I have to pay for peace and quiet?
