@jmusic45 Yes I saw Unsung and it took that episode, as was the case for several other episodes, to make me realize how special this band was then and even more so today. I was very well pleased to hear his faith is genuine when he called Barbara to admit his wrong and apologize for the way he treated her. It takes a real man to do that.

@RavenlucJanie ...I wish they would have a reunon with both Barbara and Sharon Bryant. 2 great singers in different periods of Atlanta Starr's reign. But since David Lewis, the main singer on both Always and Secret Lover (and my song "My Sugar"), has gone into ministry, the way he is now with his wife going out and singing the gospel, I don't think he would do that (did you see UnSung/), so even if they got someone else to sing his part, it won't be the same.

Was always much self-righteous and conflicted over this song and thought they were wrong...but then I found myself in a similar ordeal. Fuck...what can you do. Still, I, they, were wrong. Great song. Instead of antagonizing, it makes all 3 in the love triangle sympathetic figures. Still, wrong is wrong in the end but great song, great delivery and great set up by Barbara.
