An oil terminal in North east Thailand full of tank wagons laden with petrol and diesel, perhaps not the best place to be setting the track on fire with a badly slipping Alsthom Co-Co #4307

  • What?? 3:02. was the train too heavy to go?

  • No. I tnink they just hadn't got the brakes off!. The guy on the ground should have radioed him to stop. In the worst case scenario he should have pulled the strings on the wagons to release the brakes.

  • Did I hear someone speaking English in the back ground?????

  • That was me answering my mobile phone!

  • Ini macam di Tapis Minyak je....

  • Teringat pulak aku kepada lansiran tren BTO+1 BBC Tasek Cement+1 BCF Kontena MISC UAC di Yad Ipoh pada tahun 2000. Enjinnya oula kelas 24.

  • so, the wagons was heavy, and the brakes on them was not off? Or they didn't released the brake on the wagons?

  • I want to join you when I return to Thailand .... me and you will probably have a blast doing train spotting. You just don't know how much I love train ---- My wife and my friends think I'm a little crazy. =(

  • whoa ! wheel slip is like this... because I have experience once on cab ride from Taiping - Bukit Berapit - Padang Rengas section for KTMB. It was the 24 Class similiar to SRT's Alsthom engine.
