Obama only made it mandatory that people purchase private insurance. If a citizen doesn't purchase the fully PRIVATE insurance for whatever reason, they shall be subject to fines and other penalties. Obama's healthcare fiasco was to simply reduce Hospital losses and place that cost on the little man and their mandatory insurance.

why did she completely ignore the question about what the republicans think? Maybe because she is very narrow-minded and can't consider the idea tha we don't need to spend a trillion dollars to fix health care.

$40 million may sound like a lot of money, but while HCAN is spending $40 million to win quality, affordable healthcare we can all count on, the "health" insurance industry is spending $1.4 million PER DAY to defeat reform and keep us from having choices in our health care coverage. I'd panic too if I was a "healthcare" industry CEO making $124 million a year, so it's no wonder they're shelling out so much to protect their profits-over-people model.
