BAF Technologies is the top provider of natural gas vehicles in the U.S. But CEO John Bacon says it's more than a "green" technology; compressed natural gas is also good for company budgets - and national security, since it weans the U.S. off of foreign oil.
BAF Technologies designs CNG systems, installs them in corporate/municipal fleets and provides nationwide service and support. Dallas-based BAF has converted 12,000 vehicles to natural gas for cars since 1992, counts Verizon and AT&T as satisfied customers, and has a new designation as a Qualified Vehicle Modifier from Ford Motor Company.
