When I first heard this speech, i was very excited at the possibility of an intelligent, independent-minded woman becoming vice-president. At the convention, she blew me away with her strength and spirit. Then they allowed her to do interviews and it all went to crap. She's fantastic at reading well-written speeches. She's colossally awful at extemporaneous speaking. Still.
