Vanessa Amorosi - "Shine" (live acoustic)

So the story goes as this.....Vanessa originally wrote this song for a friend from high school who committed suicide. Originally one of the lines in the song was 'Everyone you see, everyone you know is gonna die'. The "die" was later changed to "shine" by one of her producers for commercial purposes.

For me, this is the best version of the song. I just picture her singing to us in a small cozy venue. The acoustics to this song are perfect, not to mention her voice. Her soulful voice nicely and gently warms up the room (I especially love way she sings word "Look").

This is the best version of this song and the note she hits towards the end is amazing.

To the person that posted this, I am pretty sure Mark Holden wrote this song and gave it to her to sing as he was her manager at the time. She did not write it.
