Practice Session - 071210 - DJ RICKY JAY - trying out the novation dicer with serato

Mixing some tunes last night trying out the new dicer midi controllers i got, still getting used to using them for loops, instant doubles, track load, etc. i use drop to cue points on the record with some "marker love" ;)... but can use the cue triggers on the dicers when restarting the song, etc... (when needle dropping doesn't imply). They don't get in my way when i pitch bend with the platter, so for those of you that wondered, you should be golden.

good ish bro! im looking to step up my set up right now thats how i ran across this vid. do you mind pointing me to the direction where i can get the hack you got for these dicers to access the FX feature on SL?? im hesitating on getting a pair of these dicers since i didnt think it works with FX feature on SL but since theres a hack for these might aswell get a pair of dicers.. thanks in advance bro!

@VikTheRebel i gig at various clubs, don't like getting used to a single mixer that might not be somewhere else, plus at the time the 57 didn't control the in serato FX from 2.0.... i like using the echo and other stuff with the dicers and a software hack that i now use, because i can use all the items without having a 57 handy... not to mention the 57 buttons suck....
