My First 3D Animation: City flyby

Last week I downloaded Blender, an amazing professional animation tool. It has a built in game engine for making 3D games and best of all - it's free!

I've been busy looking at tutorials and my blender-experienced friends been giving me tips. I finally made my first fully animated movie! Took 2 hours to render :o

No, it was made in Blender. It's a free program, search for it and you can download it for free.

It looks like you used the Discombobulator. I've been using 3D programs for about 5 years now. This will have taken about three seconds to do.

No, I subdivided a large square then extruded all the blocks and then copied it so there were 4 of them and stuck them together. Then I fiddled around with lots of settings to add the reflections.

I admit it didn't take long, but it took a bit more than few seconds, that's for sure.

That looked very easy to make. It seems you made to much effort to achieve something wich I could knock up in about 10\20 minutes.

I will help if you want. Im really good at scripting and using the GE and landscaping. Modeling though is not my strong point.
