Anthony Robles was born with one leg, but he hasn't let that hold him back from excelling at his sport and inspiring those around him.

  • Unfair advantage??? I was born with one arm. First year of wrestling got my ass kicked all the time. People felt "sorry " for me. A few years later I was winning and now it was unfair for the other guy. If this video doesn't make you look in the mirror and see what you could do instead of what you are doing, then you don't get it. Don't forget that it was Anthony's parents who "allowed" him to rise above societies expectations. awesome video.

  • man, what a fucking boss...take my hat off to this guy

  • I used to drive him to school. I loved telling him to "hop in".

  • @AustinHobs don't give that "he's bigger than me" bullshit. You wrestled him because you were in the same weight class.

  • Ok unfair advantge you guts are just fucking jelouse that you can get beet by a kid wit one leg get the fuck out

  • I have wrestled this kid…he has an advantage. no doubt. a leg weighs so much and he is so much bigger then all the other wrestlers. no questions.

  • I honestly wrestle wit one leg 4 my HS team. But I have my leg til below the knee

  • this guy went to speak at my church for fca. it was really cool talking to him being a wrestler myself.

  • @KaelinSaint not trying to tear anyone down, he just has a huge advantage is all, arm strength is probably 60% of the game , the rest is only movements to make use of your arms while he may suffer a tiny bit in balance and leverage he is more then compensated by having 2 - 3 times the upper body strength , so yes he still has an advantage, nothing in the rules disallowing it so the point is utterly mute.

  • @sanfordballfan3 or got beat!

  • i was born with no head arms legs or torso. i can bench 1000lbs squat 6000 and i can run a 1 second 40.

  • Anthony has significant unfair advantages over his opponents:

First, given that wrestlers are divided by weight class and Anthony is missing a leg, which can account for more than 1/4 of a body's weight, he has the frame and strength of someone much heavier than the people against whom he is wrestling.

Second, other wrestlers never get to practice against one-legged wrestlers and typical moves don't work the same way against Anthony (i.e., a 2-legged takedown).

    That said, he's still awesome.
