"18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19TO WIT, THAT GOD WAS IN CHRIST, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF, NOT IMPUTING THEIR TRESPASSES UNTO THEM; AND HATH COMMITTED UNTO US THE WORD OF RECONCILIATION.
20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he (God: the Father) hath made him (Jesus Christ: God's only begotten son, God in the flesh) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5:18-21

"MOREOVER, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1. Corinthians 15

"PAUL, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)" Galatians 1:1

"11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." Galatians 1

"24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more." Acts 20:24-25

"8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-9

"6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." Romans 11:6

"16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith OF Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith OF Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." Galatians 2:16

The Key is "by the faith of Jesus Christ". That's my faith in HIS faithfulness. He took my sin upon him and met the requirements the law demanded: blood. I in turn was imputed His righteousness. My sin imputed to Him. His righteousness imputed to me.

"9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:" Philippians 3:9

"THEREFORE being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:" Romans 5:1

"10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Colossians 2

  • I subbed you, Sub me back please ;)

  • @RentTheSpokeMan As far as morality goes...we are born depraved. Some to a lesser degree than others. There are going to be lots of "nice" people in Hell. People who thought they lived very moral lives...by mans standards. Jesus is The Judge my friend. And He is going to judge everyone...one day. Take care...

  • @RentTheSpokeMan Wow...that's a pretty distorted picture Rent. But do you know what? You have the right to believe what you want. It's called free will. We also have something called a conscience. An alarm system that God put into us. You can't say you don't feel remorse when you do something you know is wrong. Otherwise you be sociopath...you don't strike me as that kind of guy. In any event. Nothing I can say will ever lead you to Christ. Only The Holy Spirit can.

  • @splang Me judging myself gives me greater reason to do what i consider to be good and not do what i consider to be bad than doing being good just because i want a reward or dont want to be punished. Being good or bad for those reasons are not moral reasons they are simply following rules

  • @splang No it does not mean i have doubts in my own belief. I say "there is almost" because i can not prove that there is no god. It is my firm belief that there is no god but i can not say that there definately is no god because as i said i can not prove it. Sins? Do you realise that morality is subjective? Good and bad is based on how we percieve things. Everyone has a different idea of what good and bad is. Things are only "wrong" if it goes against our own moral compass.

  • @RentTheSpokeMan in fact...when you make the statement "there is almost" means you have doubts about your own beliefs. An atheist's dream. You die. Get dressed up in your best suit. Put in the ground...and that's a wrap. No judgement for how you lived your life. Just some clean cut ending without accounting for your sins. Billions of years of eternity hinge on this belief. God is going to perfectly judge and mete out precise judgement to everyone outside of Christ. See The Great Exchange my page

  • @RentTheSpokeMan almost is a word with infinite possibilities...I have met Jesus...not face to face...but was blasted into bliss by His presence. He lives buddy. Heaven in real...and so is Hell. But I don't expect you to take my word for it. Take care man. All the best to you....God Bless.

  • @splang there is almost certainly no heaven or hell and no god.

  • @RentTheSpokeMan Hell is for heroes...isn't that what Lizzy Borden sang? Have a nice trip....from one of God's cowards. Hope you wake up one day before it's too late.

  • Imputation. That's the Good News. Great video.
