  • Thanks for your advice. Thanks for your comment on my video. "Cockatoo Flight with Aviator Harness and Retractable Dog Leash". I like your idea of using the T stand and an extension line. Where did you get your T stand. Is it a Camera Tripod? Its hard to see in the video.

  • I attached a 15 foot small dog retractable leash to the end of the harness line. I hope this helps. You can also get a line that you run along the ground that the leash attaches to. This extends the line about 30 feet. You can purchase it from the aviator web site.

  • I was just gona ask the same question! Isnt the attatchment on the dog leash very heavy though?

  • Not if you get a retractable dog leash for a small dog. the line is very thin.

  • @Amandah86 I am now using Kite line for kitesailing. It is very light and strong. You can check out my other video with the kiteline.

  • nice dude, pretty safe too

  • @AngelusDlion

I was attempting to explain said "appeal" with information you may not be aware.

Sheesh dude, no need to be pissy about it.

  • @bersaba what part of "I never understood the appeal" are you missing?

I don't mind other people owning birds, it's just not my thing. I would rather not have an animal that, if grumpy, can take off a finger.

  • @AngelusDlion

Take it you've never owned a parrot then. Parrots are very intelligent and gregarious. Think of a "smart kitten" and you'll start to understand their personality. I myself have a rainbow lorikeet and she's with me pretty much all day (even take her to work at times).

  • @sugacackes I'm not trying to be a dick, but I do not understand the appeal of birds.. I could adopt nearly 40 cats from the pound...

Eh, to each their own though. As long as the bird is loved and taken care of it's all good.

  • u dont need a lish
