  • very good project...I am new in this microcontroller..and now running al over the internet..to gather info..very nice job indeed..great scope..I see..

  • To control higher power devices, you can try running a "one" signal from the computer to a basic opto-isolator chip (protects the computer from high power circuits, etc) which can then send it's signal (basically a gate or control signal) to a high power switch such as a SCR or TRIAC. About 15 years ago I build an a device hooked to the parallel port and could control 8 devices using the 8 data lines. I also used these lines to display numbers on a single LED 7 segment display.
