@drellim10 Yeah this is the SVL 57... same one as is on the front page of the SVL website. I would never spend that kind of money on anything from Fender when i piece of kit like this is available! It's got amalfitano pickups in it, and they are just stunning, it can replicate 335 or Tele when you want it to! We're based in the deep south... of Devon, England! Am really lucky to have found these 2 guys that are incredible musicians! Have a look at the website, let me know what you think!
I've played live in several bands over the years but not blues. I've been putting a blues band together but just had to let my bass player go so I'm looking again. So that's an SVL strat then? very cool. Are you in England or US? I'm in the US. Thinking about ordering one from Simon. 6 months to get it. Price isn't too bad though. timing isn't right at the moment however. I have some short videos from rehearsals that I'm thinking of posting for other band members. I'll let you know.
@drellim10 Nice one, I used to live off Japs, still swear by an 83 Japanese Precision bass... Was lucky enough to pick up that blue strat from Simon (matts tech) in march, just an absolute beast! I do love playing straight into an amp... my setup on all these videos is similar though... I think it's AKG Wireless- Lovepedal Kalamazoo - Boss DD3 - Amp. Used to have a peavey 410, wasn't good enough then to understand how to get the most out of it! A heavy beast for a kid to use! Play live much?
I've just gotten into Schofield recently. Love his playing. Bought his DVD and it has really opened up some new avenues in my playing. Watched your Black Cat version. Excellent. Are you going striaght into the amp? I'm using my '88 Jap strat with a '91 Peavey 410 classic (hence my earlier question). I generally play straight since I'm never happy with a medium overdrive from any pedal.
@drellim10 Thanks for the kind words! That's just a 1 x 12 Fender Deluxe, with the speaker and tubes changed out from the stock stuff... I am proud to say that Strat has been played by Schofield on his own version of this track! Paddy

What amp are you using on the guitar? Is that a Peavey Classic 410? Nice version. Love your strat sound.
