This is a short video that was done for a college art history class in spring of 2011. The purpose was to illustrate some of Da Vinci's designs through 3D animation and present as much of his work as possible in a short video in a fairly dramatic and entertaining way.
Please note: It has been suggested that 1 or more of the paintings featured in this video are not actually Da Vinci's but reproductions because the originals have been lost. While credit is usually given where credit is due, information on this issue appears to be a little ambiguous...some sources suggest the works in question are reproductions, others suggest they are not. As such since the work presented here is generally "recognized" as being that of Da Vinci, please know that in some cases it may not actually be by the master's own hand. Ultimately these are -ALL- electronic reproductions of and/or based on Leonardo Da Vinci's work and the author of this video apologizes for any misrepresentation(s) in regard to this issue.
@RicMoorePGA - Umm...it's not a "Screen saver", just a short animated video I created for a college Art History class. Because it was only a college project and was originally intended to be viewed only in a classroom, I took some liberties with copyrights regarding the soundtrack and as such, the video simply isn't for sale...for legal reasons if nothing else.
That said, please enjoy the video here on YT for what it is and thank you for your interest in my work!
