i seem to defy and fit stereotypes of both genders. here are some gender assumptions:
- i am a female bodied person who presents in a masculine way, therefore i must only be attracted to women. NOPE.
- my name is sam and i prefer male pronouns, therefore i must be trans in the most commonly understood way. NOPE.
- i have a high voice, therefore i am a lady. NOPE.
- why can't boys wear dresses and like dolls? why does that mean they should be little girls?
- (if) i am trans, threfore i must be tough. NOPE.
i also talk about the classic sociology/psychology study of the babies in pink or blue hats.
hey there, im new around here but ive been watching the GQC videos since im just figuring all this genderbendy stuff out. i felt compelled to say this video is really great, you summed up a lot of what i have trouble putting into words. thanks for posting.

I really liked this video, I like how you break it all down, that can be really hard to do sometimes and also I think boys in dresses are sexy!

so it would have been totally awesome if you'd thrown up on the old lady! that would have gotten you way more points than hitting a pedestrian with your car.
to both defy and fit stereotypes of both genders is...so...human...and genderqueer. and hopefully the wave of the future.
i really like how you said you have a genderqueer mind and a trans body. i have a genderqueer mind and a transgenderqueer body i think. female towards male, minus the T.
be well. ami

hooray! it feels so nice to find like-minded, like-feeling people. :)

exactly. the trans describes my feelings on my body and the genderqueer describes my mind.

yes yes and yes! that's why i embrace both "ftm" and "genderqueer" as labels that describe my gender. i think the combination of the two is probably more accurate than either label on its own because the supposed contradictions built into the combination work well together for me! yay not fitting into any pre-formed boxes!

WOW!!! It's like your talking 'bout my own thoughts on these subjects. I always thought I was alone in the "fits into both genders" catagory
