  • I don't know that I'd call the ending of the short story (this movie ends the same) "Beautiful". It's a recognition by the doctor (and one of the first times Lovecraft used this idea) that there are forces in the universe to whom we are less than an ant. Not "evil" just "natural". Natural the way an elephant steps on an ant. The ant is so insignificant as to barely be noticed.

  • There was a 1.0 with a slightly different edit.

  • I knew Jason Finley way back when. He's sure to get a Grammy for this!

  • The Doctor looks like Stephen Fry LOL.

  • This movie is so bad it's awesome.

Too bad they had to ruin a great short story to make it.

  • Dumb movie

  • I know it's tricky to judge an entire film by a trailer but the tone of the original short story is so different than that of this trailer, I don't really think of it as being particularly dark or sinister just incredibly bleak but with a great contrast in the breathtaking beauty of the climax. I think this kinda misses the mark tbh.

  • @slaxwax

    I assume you're joking.

  • The entire film is now on another site where it doesn't have to be split apart.

It rhymes with mimeo, you should be able to find it with a search.

  • The entire film is coming in the next couple of weeks.
