i just adopted a b&g macaw who was being teased and really missed treated.. i had him for a month now and there is a huge noticeable change in him.. i wanted to tell u guys i really respect and admire what u guys are doing here.. keep it up guys.

I have 12 Parrots, most came from bad situations and I cry evertime I see the terrible things humans have done to these beautiful creatures. It makes me so angry that there is not more being done to breeders.

What a wonderful refuge for parrots that have had bad homes!!!I I just wish there would be a low passed to stop breeding and the sale of parrots in pet stores. RESCUE INSTEAD!

People who breed parrots need to get out of the business, because too many parrots pluck and are not well adapted to life in a cage.

Really make captive parrot breeding illegal already.

Lukeschedel seems to have MISSED THE POINT completely! The pet trade is a multi-billion dollar industry producing thousands of parrots each year dooming them to a solitary, unhealthy life nothing like they deserve. Please educate yourself more and think about it. Refuges like this are making valiant efforts to clean up after this awful mess.

YOU MISSED THE ENTIRE POINT! The pet trade produces thousands of parrots each year to live in solitary captivity as "Pets." That's the crime. Refuges are their small chance at some sort of "parrot life." Think about it and educate yourself please.
