woody has the option to accept death or remain in hell, according to his own perception. but he doesn't realize that death is the last illusion. he is only as free & as smart as he is, because he is free from the worlds illusions. this realization will set him completely free . it will be the death only of ego. which is understandable, , everyone fears that. but his ego only exists against the issue of death. it is literally the only thing it is against.
its neat because he just reveled his issue. he is so fulfilled that the cherry on the top would be accepting death, a door he waits outside of. which he will eventually do, due to the deterioration of his joy since he is mentally at his highest point. he will get so empty that he will finally reach past death for a breathe of air because stillness from no further growth feels exactly like death.
"I'm against it" is funny. But, "unrequited" immediately popped into my head as the perfect Woody answer to this question. Maybe followed by a "Thank God."
