Eighteen-year-old David Ellis was fatally injured while working on the second day of his new job. To those who did not know him, David's death is a stark reminder of the many dangers that confront young workers. To those who did know him, David's life is cherished in the memories: As an "A" student, as a musician, as an athlete, and as a volunteer to people in need. David's father and sister, some school friends and one of his teachers share their thoughts and feelings about the personal loss behind a workplace fatality.
