  • @citizenerased8606 - that's the beauty of the organ, it is an enormous instrument (both in size and potential power) but it's so easy to command, so approachable, and has simply unparalleled dynamic range and expressive capabilities. Nothing else comes anywhere close. Would that more people outside the organ world were aware of this...

  • @musicResistances I am not on here to make enemies.

Just to clarify my original point was that other than use for classical organ recitals and religeous use, the organ is not well used and I think this is sad and a missed opportunity.

I would like to see it used more for other types of music, it seems for the majority of people there is a lack of understanding about the instrument, it can be very flexible.

  • @goodchappy you was talking about pop artists below a muse video so i assumed that you categorized muse with them and since there are many paople who tend to do this after resistance came out, i just got furious..If you didn't mean to call muse pop then i apologize ...

  • @musicResistances Where exactly did I state in my original post that Muse were "pop"?

I think you maybe misunderstanding my original point.

  • @musicResistances Where in my original post did I state that Muse are "Pop" ? I think you may be missing the point I was making.

  • @goodchappy There is nothing to explain...Everybody who knows at least 80% of muse's songs knows that Muse are not Pop

  • @musicResistances Explain...

  • @goodchappy Pop artists?????...Since when is Muse Pop?

  • I wish more pop artists would use pipe organs, problem is they are unfortunately associated with dull dismal church services and religion which I find so sad.

I am an organist and the pipe organ is my favourite instrument, however, looking at Youtube, I think it is gaining in popularity. Pipe organs are also impossible to carry about for obvious reasons but I welcome more concerts like this, even though the organ is not really being played anywhere near its capability.

  • I searched so long for this one in proper quality. This quality's the best I found. Not too great, but good enough to hear it properly. Thanks!

Wish I was there ... gig just has to have been amazing.
