Great vid my friend, Zoology exams are creeping up on me but throughout the course this vid helped give me a relatively firm grasp of the different time periods vs the animals in each along with the significant changes in each era. Good graphics too!

Where are amphibes and the birds???

Problem with this video: primates suddenly appear after the age of the dinosaurs. It's like a whole section was cut out.

@Sjarke98 i beg to differ. the placoderms did not evolve into jawed fishes..they died out totally. jawed fish in fact came from another linage,Chondrichthyes which gave rise to the sarcopterygii and eventually the amphibian tetrapods.

@Sjarke98 wait, what... you mean it's not?!?!111

Good, but it jumps from therapsids to primates without any of the forms in between. Would have been nice to see

It's a good video, is it available for download? Oh, and if you betters own, I would appreciate if you could upload then too if they are even better. :)
Thanks a lot!

this is an awesome video!
Great. BBC knows their stuff.
I think streams like these have made some none-believers in evolution think that the theory says that one individual morphs from fish to amphibian or monkey to man. :(

Hi there.
Maybe you're right. Personally, this is not one of my favourite evolution videos. Among other things, it doesn't make clear that mammals evolved from reptiles.
But I'm a Biology teacher and I use it as a class support and I try to explain to my students some of the misconceptions on evolution.
Thaks for comment.
