  • yeah I was there and actually in this video, we went on a sunday afternoon, too crowded, music was ok, no beer and didn't really care about the political statement of the event. Kind of ironic that 3 of us ended up working in the nuclear energy field

  • Thanks to Jesse Colin Young for reposting this. The week long No Nukes concerts at Madison Square Garden in NYC and the No Nukes Rally concluding the week were historic events. There was such a joyous feeling in the crowd at Battery Park that day in 1979. Thanks to all artists of Musicians United for Safer Energy (MUSE) for bringing the importance of the anti-nuclear movement to the masses.
