Morals......

I am on 1 side of a creek and someone is on the other side (we don't know each other.)

On my side I have water and on his side he has food, I know how to get water and he knows how to get food, but we cannot share it because of the creek, we learn it is beneficial to WORK TOGETHER just so we can survive, so we each throw a rope from one side to the other and construct a rope bridge and live together helping each other.

now our RELIGIOUS BELIEFS come into play ... WARRRRRRRRRRRR.

If "god" wrote morality into humans hearts then why is there more than 1 religion believing in different "gods" why do different people have different views on particular subjects .....

If this one almighty "god" put it onto everyone's heart then every human being should be like a robot and acting in the exact same way and it would also cross out the theist claim of "free will"

To theists if morality doesn't come from your holy scriptures and is in some way implanted into us by a "god" then you still have to prove that this "god" exists BEFORE your claim makes any sense at al otherwise it is just ignorance like a child thinking "how did these presents get here guhhhhh santa did it".........

TF: I don't think comparing societal moral foundations to breathing oxygen is in the slightest bit a fair rebuttal to this person's argument. In fact, Im not sure why TF seems to think that there's such a strong genetic component to our morality. Through human history we can find examples of every single moral rule being turned on its head simply by societal pressure. I don't think theres ever been a case of someone choosing to breathe a different gas, like say methane, and living.
