5 Royales last performance

In 1992 the 5 Royales were given the NC Folk Heritage award in Raleigh, NC. J.Taylor Dogget, leading historian on the group, arranged for all of the living original members to reunite for one last performance. Lowman Pauling, the guitarist, had already passed away, but the others are all original. John Tanner, lead singer, was a good friend of mine. Video of these soul, r&B legends is rare - John said there are two old videos of the group: (1) Johnny Otis show appearance, and (2) Appearance on Nashville TV show Nigh Train. If anyone has a copy of either of these appearances - PLEASE let me know.

btw- u all know Steve Cropper has a tribute album out to the 5 Royales. It's never gonna match the originals, but the guests on it have a good stab at some of the songs and the vibe on the whole album is great.
