I followed these instructions last night, and the resulting .mov file plays fine in Quicktime, but when I try it in VLC, the image is messed up, cut in half and slanted, with incorrect colors. Any ideas?

@gramb1000 that is very odd. I am not sure why it would do that. But, I don't think it would matter if you are going to put it on a DVD, right? Sorry...

Thanks. It works with PAL or I need to know other magic numbers?

@TaniaDetkina I honestly don't know if it works with PAL. I think it does since HD 16:9 is the same for both NTSC and PAL.

@ConnorCrosbyPrdctns Wow... I have got purple screen with green stripes. Magic preset ruined Final Cut. I have tried with no sound and got purple/green abstract image again. What could be wrong?

@TaniaDetkina I am not exactly sure what would be wrong. So your video was not striped like that? And once you brought it into Final Cut it did that? I do not know why that would happen. I am sorry.
