Here's a select clip from the "Wind of Colorful Guizhou" DVD. I still have DVD's available when this concert was in Vancouver, September 14, 2010 @ the QE Theatre.

If you are interested in purchasing the DVD, Please contact me. Being the last stop on their North American Tour, this would make a great cultural collection. I still have the North American Sales & Distribution for this DVD.

  • i love how they exaggerated the clothing and the lusheng(qeej)...it makes it look more magical and captivating...NICE!

  • @song151 All in the name of entertainment. Yes, I do love the design of the costumes.

  • Why Vancouver? California has a much larger Han & Hmong/Miao population.

  • @milvipes Plans are in the works to bring her not only to Vancouver, but to most larger population of Hmong/Miao areas as you say. I'd love to get a listing of the areas & plan for broadcast & other production work.

  • were you at the actual concert? and if you were, did ayouduo who is in the video actually participate in the north american tour?

  • @haezel. Also check out chinesecivilization's channel. They have an excellent array of video from CCTV about the vast & varied Asian cultures. Enjoy

  • @milvipes

Well, they did came to San Jose. I wanted to go, but was having school that day. They should of came to perform in areas in the states where there are large population of Hmong/Miao people.

  • You know what I just realized about the Hmong Suav singers, they are very good at taking breath. You can't even hear it when they are taking their fast breath taking.

  • I love this song. =)

  • @miltonjang thanks for the info and help!

  • @haezel. Yes I was at the actual concert in Vancouver, September 14th. I have contacted a source and they told me that Ayouduo was engaged to act in a movie and her schedule conflicted with this North American tour. Plans are in the works to bring her to Vancouver for a show in the future. Will keep you posted as I get more info. When this happens, I plan to broadcast this live Streaming on WebTV or colloberate with a national broadcaster.
