About an obsessive-compulsive girl who likes to give directions. I made it under specific constraints: it had to be shot from start to finish sequentially, using exactly 3 minutes and 15 seconds of film, in essentially one take. (It's been altered very slightly from its original version.) (shot on Super 8)

  • Really nice, dude.

What stock did you shoot this on? It looks like either K40 or E64T, but I don't think I've ever seen E64T look this good.

Also, what camera did you use to shoot it with?

  • thanks! i'm pretty sure i used Kodak Eastman Ektachrome VNF 7240. My camera is an Elmo Super 8 Sound 240S-XL Macro. i digitized the movie using a super 8 projector and recording it with a Canon GL2.

  • i just bought an elmo exactly like tours...i was wooundering if you know in wath year it was made?

  • Can you tell me at what frame rate you shot this? I'm just trying to get a feel for what the different frame rates look like. Did you end up manually adjusting the aperture all the time? Otherwise it was pretty good for one take! Cheers,
