This is just a small expeiment to check the feasability of using photovoltaic panels to power a generator and store the gas to be used later. My thinking is this would be a good way to store the energy for later use. Since then I have been worried about the safety of storing this gas in volume. Another consideration is the low efficiency of the conversion of electrical energy to gas return. I can only get about 65% to 75% of the electrical energy used to produce the gas back from the burning of the gas as an internal combustion engine fuel. Of course you could argue the energy from photo voltaic panels is pretty much free (after you reach payback of the cost of the panels) so the loss incurred is acceptable. Certainly it isn't efficient to run electrical generators from this fuel. Use as a motor vehical fuel is certainly possible if we can safely compress and store the fuel.

  • how will you do it?

  • I have several ideas that I want to try and I will share them here as I have time and depending on how well they work. I'm thinking of incorporating the photovoltaic panels you can see in my other video. Since the battery I use is fully charged in less than half the time available to me to gather energy from the sun. I may try to use the remaining available electricity to produce hho. Thereby storing the solar energy in a less costly manner than using the lead acid battery.

  • I will show you soon. I promise

  • how can you store it?

  • It would have to be compressed and stored. Scarry huh?

  • well thats the hard part. making hho is the very easy part

  • I don't think its hard . I do think it is very dangerous.

  • Have you ever heard of the hydrogen bomb? DO NOT try to store these two gasses combined! If you can seperate the two, then you have something to work with. I built a dry cell that will run an engine. We had a backfire and blew the top of the generator up. Luckly no one was injured. Watch my video. It shows the generator running off my wind turbine. Please be carefull!!

  • ive considered that idea before. i've read that the efficancy is lacking but there has to be some way to do this correctly. have you heard of sterling engines?
