He came and did a masterclass for us yesterday at UL. It was the most informative and enlightening 3 hours of my life. What you have to hate about him is that he is a nice guy, a really good teacher, and a guitar player beyond description...all rolled into one.

I never met him, or even know much about Steve, but I have had his album "For Joe" for over 8 years and although I like it, I find this group's dynamic much more interesting! It is great!!! Steve sounds wonderful!

Steve Masakowski...one of the truly top shelf modern jazz guitar improvisors...He as his own style, a great tone, great lines with concise delivery...and he is a nice guy too. The whole band is just incredible in my book.
