As a native speaker of gaelic I can say it has a more 'artistic' connection to magic than its modern western languages. It goes back to a time when our people believed in magic and paganism. Even in its modern form of Irish & ScotsGaelic its superior to english in its fluidity and grammar. Modern languages like english have been shaped to western taught and not the old world, like in gaelic where animals and 'things' (nature) are given the same respect as humans.
