News story about Former Grand Ole Opry singer, Bobby Hodge. Taken at his night club in Tampa Florida called the Longhorn Saloon. Bobby (with his family and band) is interviewed by Russell Rhodes from Fox13. Story ran in 1998. Band members are Bobby Hodge on vocals & acoustic guitar, Bob Hodge Jr on drums, Richie Hodge on bass guitar, Bob Rippy on lead guitar, Dan Whittaker on steel guitar. On a side note, I got word that the steel guitar player, Dan has since passed away from a stroke.

  • My Dad ODIE STANTON (lead Guitar) played on the Opry with Bobby. If you Google Odie Stanton you will see a old archive advertisement from the local News Paper in Nashville. This was in August 1961.
