are the yellow claws fabric or felt?

they're felt, but the type of felt is stiffer than regular felt. it doesn't tear really easily like normal felt does, which is why I chose it for the claws.

O: What are the little snips you made on the feet for before you turned it inside out for?

it's something you generally want to do with sewing projects that have curved seams in it. by clipping the curves, the finished seam will look nice and not get bunched up or tug in weird spots.

I did it on the kuriboh feet because the area where all that felt is sewn together was very thick and can sometimes look funny if I turn them inside out without the snips

I just started working on my own kuribon since I'm mostly a knitter so sewing was a totally new thing for me, but so far I doing well on my kuriboh.

I did make a winged kuriboh a while back, but I think I'd take a different approach on the wings if I made another one. I'll probably make an additional tutorial sometime in the future to describe how to do it (and make Kuribon as well)
