The twin falls called Mac Mac are 65m high, and was declared a National Monument in 1983. The Bridal Veil Falls - resembling a bridal veil - is 70m high. A challenging mile walk through an indigenous forest leads to the waterfall.
De Ark Guesthouse was another stunning place -- we had that exquisite bedroom from a by-gone era, and thought then and there that this wouldn't be a bad way or place to live! They were also hosting a 'Mad Hatter" themed party, which was a lot of fun. Their food was excellent and scrumptious. Lydenburg town is quaint, as can be seen by one of the shops, as Gary chats to the owner.
Music: Concerto for Mandolin in C, RV425: Allegro by Antonio Vivaldi from "Vivaldi for Dummies" CD.
