Thank you for this video! I was trying to learn this crack (I'd heard it called the overhand crack) and it WOULD NOT work. It turns out I was making the exact mistake you demonstrated. Now I know what to fix!

@TyrantBB Heh, I've developed a funny jump sidewards when I throw the whip forwards to stop it whacking me. Looks kinda funny I'd guess but it works, the whip cracks and I don't whack myself any more :-)

@aliceonceagain4life I bought a nylon one cause they are cheaper and can get wet. I got my nylon for about $100 which is considered really cheap. 8 footer
