This was a piece done for my university course. Through a moderately-lengthed design process I was required to come up with a logo design using our surnames as well as an animation to accompany it lasting about 15 seconds. This is what I came up with (bare in mind the animation isn't as good as it could have been) so let me know what you think! The idea itself stemmed from the 'bow' in 'Bowden' and eventually developed into a William Tell themed animation (hence why the apple is in the name at the end).

Film Notes:
- The stop motion portion consists of about 11 seconds which is roughly 264 pictures.
- My surname is Bowden and I had to use it, otherwise I would have used Mamshmam :D
- For those interested I currently attend Curtin University and am doing a Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia Design).

General FAQ:
- I use an oil-based clay called Belgrave but it's only sold in Australia.
- I film at 24fps
- I use a Canon M700i DV Camcorder connected to my computer through a firewire cable.
- I use Stop Motion Pro V6 HD to make my animations. Go to http://www.stopmotionpro.com to check it out.
- All the sound effects in this movie were obtained from http://www.soundsnap.com

  • william tell used a crossbow not a bow and arrow

  • @sunblood8 He also wasn't green and made of clay. I wasn't really going for historical accuracy with this piece
