Any chance of a similar video series for, say, Resident Evil 2?

(I'd be very appreciative myself, as I just played through RE2 on my emulator, and there were no voices on the various scenes)

Not anytime soon, since I don't feel like playing any more Resident Evil for a year or so after beating the game seven times in row now. Besides, I believe all the scenes in RE2 are mandatory anyway, so there's not that much of a point to do it. But we'll see. Maybe next year.

Do the people at the very beginning of the game (The real people in the cutscene) do the voices for there animated characters?, Ive always wondered this.
