@MouthOfTheUnknown Yeah, a lot of the good bands that started off as folk or symphonic are starting to head towards something a bit more solid. It's not a bad thing or a good thing. More melody is more pleasant to listen to, but it is also more work. There comes a point in everyone's career when they simply start getting tired. If you're a good musician, you burn a lot of your energy over time. You'll either rock/party yourself to death, take long breaks, or write filler material.

@AwakeningExiled That would be AWESOME! We should all do it, man! All of us metalheads and people of youtube who are opposed to trash! I'm seriously thinking this is something that can be done! Think of it, if we gathered enough people to petition a major network to do this they would have no choice because of the number of people that want it! They want to appeal to the masses. We ARE a mass! Granted, a scattered mass - But a mass nonetheless!

@SirMichaelValentine I'd hate it if MTV helped good bands like this. Especially when they show videos of those faggots/awful record scratchers eminem, Kanye west, lady gaga, etc...
they should make a new MTV and call it "Metal Television" and only promote Metal bands and good shows. Not bullshit like Jersey shore. You know, stuff with meaning and stuff that takes hard work and time to create...

@akseli09 hear Heathenreel and you may agree Italy is capable of folk metal :D a lot of EK fans are hung up that their music is so different now...well they don't play folk anymore so that style can't be expected when hearing their new material. I think both new and old, Elvenking makes good music PERIOD no matter its style. I love this song but don't try to pretend it's folk
