Autistic Man Arrested 005.MP4

Autistic man was denied admittance to hospitals for stabilization of his seizures because he has autism. He was being aggressive after the seizures and was charged with a felony for hitting and kicking two police officers. He was taken to the county jail and the bond was set at $8000.00. The charges against him are still pending.

No Patient, whether he/she is or is not autistic, should NEVER be turned away. You're paying for the health insurance for your autistic child, and a hospital has a right to deny an autistic patient healthcare that they or their parents are paying for? This is a punch in the eye, it is bull Crap! If Obama finds out that this child ain't getting healthcare in the future because of autism, I think that Obama shold have the hospital shut down!!!!!!!!

How ignorant can a hospital be? And just think people this is not some little country hospital, this is the OU Health Sciences Center, yes part of the University of Oklahoma. Go Sooners Go! Yeah right! This is a teaching hospital and they claim to be on the cutting edge, don't tell me that the department heads can not get together and come up with a treatment plan. What are we do with our Autistic children when they need medical help, put them out for Big Trash Pickup? Shame on yOU!!
