Living in Korea was one of the most tumultuous experiences of my life. There's no ovens, bathtubs, and Yanks are more compatible with the Brits by far over the lot of you. Live how you want to live though -- your standards are apparently low. Kudos to that.

Probably depends on the household. My mother never let me wear shoes in the house either, and I'm American.

It's big for a teacher's apartment, but that's only because two teachers are living there. They combined our apartment allowance so we could have a 2 bedroom. *^^*

We don't! If we need a cake, we go to Paris Baguette or Tous Le Jour (popular bakeries here). I'm looking forward to having a full sized oven again!
