To E-Prime or not? Urban Scout speaks

our reality tunnels seem to be created from broad cultural agreements or gestalts on what we currently believe is true or not. I have found that relating the reality tunnel concept before launching into e prime greatly enhances emotional content and prevents my communications from becominig too wishy washy and non commital

I find when I have to think too much about how to write a sentence, I just use "to be". When writing fiction, the vagueness of "to be" can actually have a beneficial effect, adding some form of poetic depth. In dialogue I don't even think about it at all: all of my characters use forms of "to be" just like ordinary persons would

In the end, I find it a good way to avoid passive voice. You just shouldn't overdo it.

Maybe studying the Orang Asli language and translating it might be helpful in finding out how they include emotion in the language...

Some people have the observation that e prime should only be used in scientific papers and articles.And its not usefull for discribing your feelings poetry or telling a joke

e prime challenges the mind but forces digressions. also because of its logical

nature e prime steals emotional content

i commend you, i find e prime challenging.which, I like. one day, i might delete the "I" from my speech. which hopefully provides greater challenges. Korzybski must laugh at us.
