SAW 2 ruined SAW. SAW was fine on it's own. The Collector was a decent effort. I can see it spinning off into a direct to DVD series. Fun gory stuff.

Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan have already started to write "Saw VII." And I certainly wouldn't say they "ruined" the "Saw" franchise. They expanded it, and granted, IV and V were a bit sloppy, but they also gave us some nice insight to the roots of the series, and compared with most other suspense series (I don't consider "Saw" horror) it has remained fresh. I say, keep bringing them. To say they ruined the series this early is kinda silly to me. Who knows how VI and VII will turn out?
