I hear you. But I have been getting better since that comment. I find that if you, as you say, trust that bikes don't just "fall over" that you will do all right. Thanks for your comment, and advice, and enjoy biking!

I'm in the same boat as you. But i think it's mostly down to guts rather than skills. Most of us might do fairly well if we trusted the bike and let go of the brakes.

I WISH I could ride my bike one tenth that well. I am just getting accustomed to riding downhill. I still get paniky if the hill is too step, and I have to slow down, (sigh.)
